To facilitate the organisation of the Journées 2022, it is important you register before May 6th at midnight. Please book your hotel as soon as possible.
Fees
- SF2A members: 60 Euros (80 Euros after April 22th and before the May 6th)
- Non-members: 110 Euros (140 Euros after April 22th and before the May 6th)
- On-site registrations are discouraged and will be increased (fees for on-site registration: 150/180 euros)
- PhD and masters students: free
- For ONE chair per worskhop and for plenary speaker : free
Payment
Online payment is possible and highly recommended. This is done via the online shop. Credit cards issued abroad are also accepted.
Grants for post-doctorants and PhD students
Are you a post-doc or PhD student out of France who would like a grant to attend the Journées 2022. In that case send an email, before April 22nd, to the President of SF2A with a copy to the secretary, including a letter of “motivation” along with a current CV. Tell us which sessions you would like to attend and how much money you need to participate. The format of these documents is free. If granted, refund will be done on the basis of your receipts and a non-payment certificate from your home institute.
Contributions (abstracts)
Deadline to submit an abstract for workshops is Mars 31st.
The submission of a contribution (or two) can be done by filling or modifying the registration form. You could then select the workshop in which you wish to submit your contribution (talk or poster). Up to two contributions can be submitted. If you want to submit more contributions, please contact the system administrator.
ePosters: only eposters will be available. They will be display online for all participants available from their computers. ePosters allow presenters to more effectively convey information that would not be feasible with a traditional printed poster, and it improves visualization to attract the attention of attendees while also conserving the environment!
Later on, a “book of abstracts” will be available online (and only online).
The proceedings of the conference give an annual overview of the current state of French astronomy. They will be published in an electronic format in English and made available on the SF2A website. They will be referenced in ADS. The instructions for the authors will be given later.
Last minute information (25/03/2022)
There is a bug in the management of talks by the workshop leaders, we are analyzing the situation.
Moreover, it is imperative for the visibility of your contributions to submit them systematically with the upload of a PDF file of the abstract.
Reminder: Only contributions for the workshops and not for the plenary sessions can be submitted, except for those who have received an invitation for the plenary sessions.
